10 That's strange - I got the same error message about invalid directory.  Fortunately, using Orca to drop those 3 lines of "VBox_Target_Dir_Is_Valid" worked fine.  What is strange is that I got a fatal installation error at the end, but didn't seem to affect the install - as my existing Ubuntu VM booted without any issues.

12Fortunately, using Orca to drop those 3 lines of "VBox_Target_Dir_Is_Valid" worked fine.  Of course, I got a fatal installation error at the end (even when I ran the regular .exe to "repair" the install, but didn't seem to affect the application - as my existing Ubuntu VM booted without any issues.

1214However - now that [https://www.vmware.com/products/desktop-hypervisor/workstation-and-fusion VMWare/Broadcom's Workstation Pro] is free - might just be worth the trouble to see if the export function will work and not worry about having to edit .msi files.
