Description (last modified by )
Hi! I'm on a 2012 MacBook Pro with an i9 and 16GB of Ram running macOS 10.15.7 and I am using the latest version of VirtualBox (7.0.10). For the past few days I've been trying to create a Windows and a Kali Linux virtual machine. Whenever I attempt to run them I end up with (on Windows) the blue screen or (on Linux) either a black screen with a blinking curser or a warning that says the OS might be corrupt. (note that all the OS's are directly from they respected companies). I have tried following: I have followed many tutorials on installing the VMs to get it right. I have also tried using multiple versions of both Windows and Kali Linux. I have even tried Deleting and reinstalling VirtualBox. Finally I have tried using VirtualBox 6.1 instead but when I try to install it I get a warning that the installation could not be completed. Enclosed is a file that is a log for a Windows VM. Any help would be great!
