Description
Can't find any clearly related bug to track nor any forum discussion that seems to match. Maybe no reports for the same reason I haven't reported it for some months: Too hard to report anything here.
Original form began a long time ago, definitely in a previous release of Ubuntu, but I'm now using 2304 and it's still crashing. Firefox boots and then shuts down. Rebooting Firefox seems to "solve" the problem. Repeat crashes are rare if ever.
More recently, probably since the latest version of VirtualBox it has added an even more annoying variation. Sometimes it just reboots Ubuntu completely. Time delay is about the same after Firefox is started. However, since it is reaching the guest OS level, I think the primary blame is VirtualBox.
I can't rule out Windows 11, but Microsoft cares even less.
Still continuing with latest version of Ubuntu. Increasingly convinced it is the fault of VirtualBox. Whatever a bad application does, it should not be able to crash and reboot the VM.
