initial v1 1 1 I have the same problem on a Windows 11 guest on a Linux host. Started being a problem when I upgraded to VBox 7 from the latest 6.1 version. The Guest Additions installer runs part way and then the guest aborts. Rebooting shows that Windows 11 thinks that the GAs are installed, but it may be incomplete....there are graphics issues on resizing the Guest windows, and some transparency problem as well as at least one program (The Steam games control center) doesn't draw at all - just a black rectangle with no window controls. 2 3 ETA: running the GA installer again aborts the Guest again - it's repeatable.
