Hi there Galitsyn,
It still happens. Whether this is downloading via the Virtualbox gui or first downloading the file locally. I am getting a different sha256. When downloading the file from within the linux VM, then it has the right checksum.
Unfortunately, on the Windows host, I'm getting a different file each time I'm downloading it. Each time the checksum is different. Its length is correct, but the content isn't.
Other kinds of downloads don't seem affected.
I'm doing a systems check on my side. It might be a good idea to do the same from Oracle's.

Hi JLC,
We just double-checked Extension Pack 6.1.34 update procedure in Windows GUI on our side. All looks as expected, no complains about checksum mismatch.

FINALLY got the response from our IT department. It seems our firewall/vpn setup was the culprit. "The site didn't cope well with https" whatever that means.
I was afraid some kind of malware came with it because the files always have the exact number of bytes, but the content was always changing.
Better safe than sorry I suppose ...

Hi JLC,
Thank you for the feedback. I am closing ticket as invalid since it is not related to VBox.
Hi JLC,
SHA-256 checksums for VirtualBox Extension Pack 6.1.34 posted on https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/6.1.34/SHA256SUMS are correct. Also, upgrading Extension Pack via VBox GUI (tried on Linux host) works as expected. Might be file was corrupted during download? Could you please retry?
