Description
When I try to create a new Host Network Manager I receive this error:
Assertion failed: [!aInterfaceName.isEmpty()] at 'F:\tinderbox\win-6.1\src\VBox\Main\src-server\HostNetworkInterfaceImpl.cpp' (76) in long cdecl HostNetworkInterface::init(class com::Utf8Str,class com::Utf8Str,class com::Guid,enum MIDL_MIDL_itf_VirtualBox_0000_0000_0046). Please contact the product vendor!.
I am running a 6.1.3 version on a Windows 11 Microsoft Surface Laptop.

I have this same issue. Any word on a solution?
My case: MSI laptop with Windows 11 Home, VirtualBox 6.1.36. It's a new PC - I installed VirtualBox and Vagrant, and copied the VM files from my old Win10 PC. I asked on SuperUser, and someone said I should report it to you, so I created an Oracle account just to write this comment.
My new PC doesn't have a physical Ethernet port - one of the comments on this old Stack Overflow answer hinted that it might matter. But surely that's not a prerequisite for having a VM!
