Regards, sorry me for my bad english. I opened a post in the forum about a problem with the Guest Addition installation on Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit. After a series of tests and comparisons with other users, they advised me to open a Bugtracker. Using VirtualBox and Guest Addition version 6.1.32, when I try to install Guest Additions, I initially thought the installation would hang. Speaking with other users we understood that the installation does not crash, but it takes a long time to complete. I personally take about 15 minutes to finish it. Searching the forum, I found another user who opened a post, where he writes that he too takes 15 minutes to install. Another user writes that he takes 10 minutes to install. It's not just me who has this problem. To overcome this "bug", after many tests the only way to overcome it is: Or start the Guest PC in safe mode; Or disable the Network card; Or wait 15 minutes; Or at the end of the Guest PC installation, set up the optical reader, turn off the Guest PC, turn on the Guest PC and the Guest Addition installation is completed quickly. I have tested many solutions and I am available to retest your suggestions. Thank you.
