    v1 v2
88> Pretty quirky setup, in my entirely personal opinion, to have not a single valid signature which is from the entity responsible for the code. Sure, Microsoft only adds their signature there if they get the whole batch of driver files in an CAB file which is EV signed by the submitter, but it's still a little strange that the end user can't see any valid signature from Nvidia.

10 That's not whats going on.

1210The issue is 2 fold in that <1 Oracle is performing an incomplete validation chain check and failing the moment it see's a signature older than the current system date/time, even though the certificate is countersigned and in the validation period.

1614WHQL should take precedent, followed by Counter signature period.

16the SHA1 signature has a veriable chain but Virtualbox must invoke ci.dll where the "Microsoft Digital Media Authority 2005" has been embedded.
