Rebooting causes colored stripes in the VM and a Guru meditation

Description
Every time I reboot my guest it has colored stripes on the top of the VM's screen then goes into guru meditation, this happens less on BIOS VMs, mostly happens on linux but also happens on Windows (Mostly 7,8,8.1)
