Adding USB devices has useless serial number

Description
Running on Windows 10 I have a number of USB serial devices and trying to identify which one to add is problematic.
VirtualBox is showing "Serial No." but I can't find that number anywhere in device manager or the registry on my machine. What I can find is at the top of the details is "Device Instance Path" which looks unique and is easily found to identify the specific USB device needed.
