Ticket #19326, comment 13
initial v1 1 Just had this same problem - in my case I'm using a Lenovo laptop with an integrated touch mouse which runs thru the USB bus. When I tried to disable USB I discovered I couldn't because the input device in use was the touch mouse. Changed it to use my external mouse (which happens to ALSO be USB) and the BSOD's went away, AND I was able to use a USB device in the VM. So somehow related to one of the internal USB hubs of the laptop being used as the mouse. 1 Just had this same problem - in my case I'm using a Lenovo laptop with an integrated touch mouse which runs thru the USB bus.
