    5 I have the same problem. I can confirm it has something to do with OpenGL because an app I am using allows you to disable OpenGL rendering and when I do the app displays correctly. If I disable 3D acceleration then it works as expected, if I uninstall the Direct3D drivers as suggested by someone, I get a blank screen if I enable 3D acceleration.

    77When I did a search on "OpenGL upside down"(sans "virtualbox"), there was overall generalized speculation that it had something to do with using the wrong viewport or the like. Maybe that'll help someone.
