    v1 v2
1 there MUST be something in common with all that reporting people having VBox crashing their OS X.
1for me there seemed to be something in common with all that reporting people having VBox crashing their OS X. (solved now by help of socratis - so read on....).

3 I tried a lot of (user doable) things to takle it down, but until now to no avail.
4 Still getting occasional reboots of OSX when starting VMs. (less often after having applied the below listes config changes)

4Still got occasional reboots of OS X when starting several VMs or -sometimes - just one VM. (less often after having applied the below listed config changes, but still occuring)
    55
6 I think it may be related to newest MAC HW?
7 Mine is a 2018(q4) Macbook pro with a 6 core and 32 GB ram (so no RAM issue with my VMs running in parallel).
    8   Model Name:   MacBook Pro
    9   Model Identifier:     MacBookPro15,3
10   Processor Name:       Intel Core i9
    11   Processor Speed:      2,9 GHz
    12   Number of Processors: 1
13   Total Number of Cores:        6
    14   L2 Cache (per Core):  256 KB
    15   L3 Cache:     12 MB
    16   Hyper-Threading Technology:   Enabled
    17   Memory:       32 GB
    18   Boot ROM Version:     220.260.171.0.0 (iBridge: 16.16.5200.0.0,0)
6In most cases - on reboot - MAC OS X is not giving dialog to send in a crash report after restart.
7Only about any 4th sudden reboot I get one (so OS X doesn't seem to see some of those sudden reboots as a panic/crash rather than a 'normal' boot ??!!).

23 I am attaching the newest crash report to this bug now.
9I attached available crash reports to this bug (may help others).

2511Situation and what I did so far:

2713- installed (upgraded from earlier version) VBox 6.0.8 when it became available
    2814- updated to 10.14.5
29 - Problems started and gettig worse over time
15- Problems started and getting worse over time
    3016
3117then discovered the numerous threads in VB community about OS X crashes with 6.0.8/10.14.5
32 - Applied the kex cmd i recovery mode
33 - removed (as invalid setting reported) config of 'capping CPUs' - now any VM just has 2VCPUs configured
34 - took care, that any combination of started VMs in sum dont get more than half of physical Memory of host
18- Applied the kex cmd in recovery mode
19- removed VM config option of 'capping CPUs' (as this was reported as 'invalid setting') - now any VM just has 2VCPUs configured
20- took care, that any combination of started VMs in sum don't get more than half of physical Memory of host
3521- configured all VMs to use VboxVGA (not VboxSVga), gave 128MB on Video Ram, enabled 2D acceleration, disabled 3D acceleration.
3622- configured all VMs to use SATA/AHCI with host I/O Cache usage, and drives to be presented as SSD to the guest OS

38 All this seemed to solve the problem, as for some time I could now start/stop/work with serveral VMs in parallel.
39 But it's not completely gone.
40 Just got another reboot a few seconds ago... :-((
24All this seemed to solve the problem, as for some time I could now start/stop/work with several VMs in parallel.
25But it's not completely gone. Got reboots again every now and then with no clear pattern  :-((

42 Here is a list of thread reporting about this as well.
43 But unitl now, no of the given actions/advices helped in solving my sudden reboots.
27Solution for my problem (by guidance of socratis - THANK YOU):
28- looked at the loaded extensions with:
     29  kextstat | grep -v com.apple
30built a list of 3rd-Party extensions which may interfere with VBox network, sound,..
