initial v1 1 Strangely, after updating Mint, and before rebooting, the menu bar reappeared. And I was able to install the Guest Additions from within the VM, though I had to manually unmount the existing Additions first. 1 Strangely, after updating Mint, and before rebooting, the menu bar reappeared. And I was able to install the Guest Additions from within the VM, though I had to manually unmount the existing Additions first. However, the host key seems to continue nonfunctional (and I have checked on my system to see which key it is meant to be).
