    1411Steps to Reproduce:
    1512I have tested this various times by performing the following:
    16 1)      Performing a fresh installation of Ubuntu 18.04.2 (ubuntu-18.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso) in VirutalBox with the following specifications:
    17 •       Base Memory:  2048 MB (2 GB)
    18 •       Processors: 2
    19 •       Disk Space: 25 GB
    20 •       Encryption Enabled: Yes (via the graphical Ubuntu installer prompts)
    21 2)      Navigating to “Devices -> Insert Guest Additions CD image”
    22 3)      Ran the VirtualBox Guest Additions 6.0.4 Install via the “Run” pop-up button
    23 4)      Received the “Please install the gcc make perl packages from your distribution.” error message

    28 9)      Attempted to re-size the VirutalBox Ubuntu Guest Host Window which created a black Ubnut Guest Host screen
    29 10)     Navigate to “Machine -> Reset”
     131. Performing a fresh installation of Ubuntu 18.04.2 (ubuntu-18.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso) in VirtualBox with the following specifications:

    31 If I ever re-attempted to re-size the VirutalBox Ubuntu Guest Host Window then it would re-create black Ubuntu Guest Host screen

    33 To resolve this issue I would manual uninstall  VirtualBox Guest Additions 6.0.4 from the Ubuntu Guest Host via the Command Line Interface (CLI) by performing the following steps:
    34 1)      Ensure the “Guest Additions CD image” is still mounted to the Ubuntu Guest Host
    35 2)      Run the “sudo sh /<USERNAME>/media/<VIRUTALBOXNAME>/VBoxLinuxAdditions.run uninstall” command
