Greetings:

I am trying to build some software within Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS and I get the following error at link time. I am running VBox 6.04 with appropriate Additions. Thank you for your help with this.

//usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/VBoxOGLcrutil.so: undefined reference to `crypt_r'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

There are some environment details I forgot to include. The Host OS is macOS Mojave 10.14.3 and the guest is Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS.

I am unable to change guest and host type now that the ticket was created. I am sorry for not doing this correctly.

Please try the latest Guest Additions development test build.
