This problem goes back to at least r1077.

Also, it works correctly on Linux/i686.

It also works correctly, both in i686 and x86_64, on 2.6.21-rc2 and earlier.

Please add your Linux .config file as an attachment.

Please retry with the vboxdrv from the svn HEAD if possible. Use

src/VBox/HostDrivers/Support/linux/export_modules ~/vboxdrv.tar.gz

to export the kernel module from the svn tree.
