Unmounting not possible from 'CD/DVD Images' dialog box

Description
When adding a CD/DVD image and mounting it to the machine, then opening the 'CD/DVD Images' dialog through 'Devices' -> 'Mount CD/DVD-ROM' -> 'CD/DVD-ROM Image...', then it is not possible to unmount (eject?) the device. The image's context menu have two disables (grayed-out) items: ' Remove' and 'Release'. I guess 'Release' was intended to do the work. If so, I'm not sure that 'Release' is the proper term.

I cannot follow you again, sorry. Of course the guest has to unmount the CDROM itself at first. If the CDROM is locked, VirtualBox cannot do much (removing the CDROM anyway could make the guest crash). If the CDROM is not locked by the guest the medium can simply be disconnected using the Devices... menus.

I'm talking about having this capability to disconnect the medium not just from the Devices... menus, but also from the 'CD/DVD Images' dialog, using a context-menu on the appropriate list entry.

I don't think this makes sense. There can only be one image be connected to the VM at any time so why to add a context menu to every image? Disconnect image from the Devices menu disconnects the currently mounted image.

Let's consider the following scenario: I have 10 images listed in that dialog. Image #5 is mounted. I want to mount image #6, so I open this dialog, but oops - there's already a mounted image. I have to close this dialog, unmount image #5, open that dialog again, and mount image #6.
The enhancement I'm suggesting is a usability enhancement, to make using this software quicker and more intuitive.
In any case, what is the 'Release' context menu item for? What's the difference between release and unmount? I find this confusing.

As I just wrote in another defect, just mount the new image, the old image is unmounted automatically (as one would expect).
The 'release' context item is to permanently release the CDROM from that VM (even from other not running VMs).

Just to make it clearer: I know that un-mounting is possible from 'Devices' -> 'Unmount CD/DVD-ROM', but I think it should also be available from the dialog I mention in the previous comment.
