1756,Outbound VPN PPTP connections fail,lid,,"I have tried to create an outbound VPN PPTP connection to a remote server on both a Ubuntu (Hardy Heron) guest and Windows (SP3) guest. On Ubuntu, this fails with
{{{
LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
}}}
[http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/howto-diagnosis.phtml#client_no_gre_rx PPTPclient diagnosis page][[BR]]

On Windows XP, this fails with
{{{
Error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was closed.
}}}

This host is able to connect to the VPN server.

It appears that this is due to the Virtualbox's inability to pass GRE packets through its NAT.
