initial v1 1 1 The current default is to have the host show symlinks rather than resolve them. 2 To get the behavior you want, create /etc/modprobe.d/vboxsf.conf 2 To get the behavior you want, create /etc/modprobe.d/vboxsf.conf on the guest. 3 3 4 4 Put one line in that file exactly like this: 5 5 6 6 options vboxsf follow_symlinks=1 7 8 Then reboot the guest.
