    11I see now that clicking "Properties" a second time *eventually* makes the properties form go away.  But not until several seconds have elapsed.

    3 Whatever vboxmanage is doing during this delay, it probably should not be doing in this case.  There's no reason to check if another process didn't make conflicting changes, since no changes are being requested (if changes *were* entered, then such a check should be made when Apply is clicked).

    5 I still think a "Cancel" button should be there.  Most software systems work that way.
     5If you want to always refresh the snapshot list, ''first make the form disappear'' so the user knows something is happening, then query the VM etc.
