I don't know enough to troubleshoot this further, but of course I'm willing to learn more and work with you. I tried some older version, but they have the same problem. This is High Sierra, on a Macbook Pro 2017

raarts, take a look at the comment from vushakov there about the dmesg output. This is what really helps the developers.

Also, please consider searching the forums first, they're full of these report, which most of the time we can usually resolve there.
