v1 v2 2 2 3 3 The answer was not multithreading, but a new BIOS (4.60) for my x370 Taichi motherboard. Reverting to 4.40 seems to have fixed the issues. 4 5 4-11-2018 update: the BIOS was the problem. All audio functions working perfectly with the older BIOS.
