Description
We deploy the MSI file to some developer machines. However it annoys us permanently (every few weeks) about new unimportant version. I know there is a way to disable the warning per user, but this does not help as the software is installed per machine. I cannot change the settings file with a GPO.
We need a registry key or xml config file in app folder or a MSI propery (best) that allows us to disable automatic updates globally.
Always keep in mind that users are not allowed to install or update software.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
The per machine can't happen. Not at the moment, as VirtualBox is designed to run in a user's context, not in a machine's context. Sounds like a Request For Enhancement, not like a bug. A bug is something that is supposed to work in a certain way, but it actually doesn't. Your request is not such a case...
