Switching a guest window to full screen with more than one guest display hides other guest windows

The last version that this worked was 5.0.4 and even then it was a little buggy (not expanding past the dock and other weirdness).

If you are running a guest with two virtual displays, when you expand one display to full screen (green icon), it will hide the other virtual windows. When you 4-finger-up to manage windows, you only see "VirtualBox VM" instead of the guest name. In 5.0.4- you saw to entries labeled "vm guest name 1" and "vm guest name 2".

Tried on most versions since 5.0.4 including 5.1.22 with the same behavior. Tried on El Capitan (10.11.6) and Sierra (10.12.5).

I've had the exact same problem with both Windows and Linux hosts (running linux in the VM), full screen is useless if your VM has two virtual displays, one of those displays is always hidden in full screen mode. Using 5.2.18 on both hosts.

There seem to be a lot of forum postings around the web with people reporting this problem, but no working solutions.

Yet you chose to post your problem on an OSX host specific bug? What you're describing may have somewhat similar symptoms, but it's in no way related. Please read the linked thread in the forums.

Speaking of... It's usually better and faster, if issues get first addressed in the ​VirtualBox forums, a lot more eyes there. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements.

So, if you can, please open a new thread in the ​Using VirtualBox section of the forums.
