(The 64-bit value located at 44 bytes on the MCFG table.) 4 4 5 5 The problem with not including this area in the memory map (as reserved) is that the OS may try to use this area to assign PCI device base addresses. It has no way of knowing that this area is not available for PCI device assignment.
