Description
grep video /var/log/lightdm/x-0.log (EE) vboxvideo: module ABI major version (20) doesn't match the server's version (23)
For example Ubuntu 17.04.

It is correct that there is no vboxvideo module for X.og 1.19. However, modern Linux distributions like Ubuntu 17.04 are supported by using the DRM kernel modules. Just install the 5.1.22 Additions in Ubuntu 17.04 and they should work.
