    initial v1
I had this problem as well when I used an OSX ISO image that I made by using the ISO image of: https://goo.gl/gev2Ee  as referred to in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BFEAtlT5xc  By using this ISO image with the intructions from the video I could succesfully install OSX Sierra.

Then I made my own ISO image with my own OSX Sierra source as instructed in this video: http://riccardotramma.com/2016/05/install-os-x-on-virtualbox-on-os-x/  and this image gave the error message that is discussed in this ticket.

My own created OSX ISO image contains more or less the same files as the downloadable OSX ISO image, but there are some different install packages in it. I did not have the time yet to completely compare the differences in the ISO files, but to me it seems that the differences in the ISO file might also cause the problem that is discussed in this ticket.

I am using Virtualbox5.1.20 r114628 (Qt5.6.2) with the Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack 5.1.20r11468 installed, running on a Windows 7 host. The contens of the .vbox file that I am using for getting it all working is attached to this ticket.

I hope this information helps to getting this issue somehow solved! :-)
