initial v1 1 1 I'm confused by halfer's comment because I find that shutting down the offending VM actually DOES release the captured mouse. In fact, it is often the ONLY way to do so. Your experience must be different than mine for some reason. 2 3 I'd like to add a comment that I have been running VirtualBox with the mouse capture disabled. I find that it has no real impact on my work, except for a couple of VMs I run in a window from the host desktop; the others run full screen.
