I will be patient again and explain one of the reasons this has not been fixed: this does not reproduce very easily. A few people are able to reproduce it easily, most people (we have a large and generally happy Mac user community), including all of our developers who use Macs, are not. So unfortunately, even apart from the fact that we have many other things to work on, we would be unable to do anything here, as we are dependent on people who do have the problem to investigate for us, which so far none of them has been able to do. As I mentioned several times, my personal suspicion is some additional software installed on the Mac, quite possibly something which interacts with the cursor. @opcenter was one of the people who did take some time to look and suggested that "Better Touch Tool", which they are using, might be a candidate.
So anyone genuinely interested in seeing this fixed would do well to take a good look at how their Mac is set up, and what might be different from someone else's Mac, and try changing that/uninstalling pieces of software (it might be something big or something small) to see if that makes the difference, then reporting back. Of course, if this is too much work for anyone I understand if they prefer to use different software, as @cesarcafe did. That said, if I were affected them investigating myself would make more sense to me than obtaining, learning and switching to a complete new tool.
