It also affects any guest type whether Windows or Linux. 6 6 7 7 Also using KDE Plasma 5.8.5 and VirtualBox 5.1.14. Not sure if the problem came about due to a recent upgrade from Plasma 5.7 or Virtualbox, but it sounds like it was probably VirtualBox.
