USB Sound choppy, Hardy 8.04 host, xp guest — at Initial Version

Description
All the ways i tried, I cannot get USB audio working correctly.
I'm using a Logitech usb headset. And with the current setup, my xp guest sees my usb, is able to use the mic, records fine, but when it sends sound to the USB speaker it is all choppy.
Non-usb sound works well, and ive tried switching from my alsa driver, but to no avail.
