Alt-tab tabbing through host windows after having pressed host-key

Description
Many times I use ctrl-left and ctrl-right to navigate through my source code. Sometimes I forget to use the left ctrl and I mistakenly press right ctrl. As this is assigned as the host-key the keyboard capturing is stopped and VirtualBox shows me a dialog what I would like to do.
After choosing to continue with capturing again, alt-tab does not tab through the guest windows anymore, but tabs through the windows on the host.
After closing down the VM, and restarting it, alt-tab tabs through the guest windows again.
How can I reset this behavior without having to close down the VM?
As this behavior really hinders my productivity I have logged this ticket with major priority.
Guest OS: Windows Server 2012 Host OS: Windows 7

OK I can reset this behavior just by going through with the assigned command to host-key + C, i.e. switching to scaled mode, and switch back from scaled mode. Alt-tab is tabbing through my guest tabs again.

Sorry but this bugtracker is not for asking questions. For doing so, please go to the forums. You could also reset this behavior by pressing the host key once.
Is it possible to change my original ticket text? I just found out it happens when pressing right ctrl + C instead of left ctrl + C to copy text to the clipboard.
