Guru meditation during start Windows XP or desktop Linux guests on Arch Linux host.

Description

This problem is with VirtualBox 5.1.x. VirtualBox 5.0.x is ok.

But Windows XP is started successfully in safe mode on VirtualBox 5.1.x.

Seems to be a regression for raw mode which is only used if VT-x is not available.

Yes, my processor Pentium(R) Dual-Core T4200 not supports VT-x yet.

This problem with raw mode was already reported some time ago. Take a look at the ticket #15685.
