Before doing any statement I would like to see the corresponding VBox.log file. And please, the product name is VirtualBox or (if you need an abbreviation) VBox. Thanks.

    11Hi Team,

3 I just observed an issue while trying out few things running Ubuntu 14.4 Server virtual image on Oracle VMBox Version 5.1.6 r110634 (Qt5.5.1).   If you add lot of CPU intensive operations in the ISR ( with the goal of making it take much long time ), eventually the machine hangs for obvious reasons by printing a final message on VMBox console  “NMI watchdog:  BUG: soft lockup – CPU#0 stuck for 22s! [swapper/0:0]

5 When I tried to kill the Virtual image, the VMBox is stuck with screen attached.    Is it a bug in VMBox or something conceptual I am unable to understand  ?
