USB Issues

VB v 5.1.0 Newest extension pack Windows 10 For some reason i can no longer grab USB devices i select my device and nothing happens if i try again i get this error.

This is something im in desperate need of i use it all the time to talk to machines via usb to rs232 adapter but its not just that device its all USB devices.

did you try setting your USB controller to xHCI (USB 3.0) in Settings->Ports->USB?

I beleive that I am experiencing the same issue. Version 5.0.24 works OK, but with every version since (I have tried 5.0.26 and 5.1.2) I cannot use my WiFi dongle. I can connect the device to VB, and it will appear in lsusb in Kali, but the device is immediately disconnected and the driver does not load - hence no interface available. In addition, when I then try to disconnect the device from VB or I close VB, Windows 10 crashes. I have uninstalled the later version and reverted back to version 5.0.24 and everything works OK again.

I have just downloaded and installed VirtualBox 5.1.4 and my device now works in this version. Thank you.
