| 1 | 1 | Following this error, Virtual Box reports a new process cannot be started to load a guest VM. This behavior directly follows installation of VirtualBox 5.0.24 using an msconfig.exe selective startup setting with only Windows services started. After installing, upon restarting with msconfig set to Normal Startup with all services loading, and following starting the Virtual Box user GUI, installing a new version of VBox Guest Additions, and mapping Optical Drive "IDE Secondary Master" as VBoxGuestAdditions.iso, then saving the VM guest settings, upon highlighting the guest and clicking Start, I received the error dialog message in the report above. |
