on MacOS X, Windows seven VM crashes when logging in in dual screen seamless mode

Reported by: JoLan Owned by:

the VM occasionally crashes when restoring and systematically when booting up and then logging in. the VM is configured to use the two screens of the computer and is in seamless mode. if the VM is not in seamless mode when restoring / logging in then it never crashes. attached is the log of a crash after booting up and then logging in (at 00:03:04)

Can you provide a core dump? If so, please contact me via frank _dot_ mehnert _at_ oracle _dot_ com. I cannot provide you a server for uploading so if you could upload the core dump to a server and and provide me the link I would have a look.

frank, I am doing that.

In addition, i'd like to point out that booting up or restoring when not in seamless mode and then switching to seamless mode does not crash the VM. Rebooting and then logging in while in seamless mode does not seem to crash the VM but I rarely do that so I can't tell for sure. I usually minimize my VM before saving it, and I switch back to seamless once it's restored.

Just for the record: By private E-mail I explained that we most likely fixed the problem. The latest 5.0 test build for Mac OS X (>= 105410) contains the fix.
