    7 I have certainly seen situations where mixing and matching components can create problems. You really need to choose one and stick with it (and I, as a general proponent of sticking with what's in your distro's repos, always recommend Oracle's because I have consistently seen them provide quality). But I haven't seen a situation where a guest created in one but not the other given that they are the same version.

    99Additionally, and more to the point I was getting at above, it wouldn't explain why people are seeing this issue on OS X and Windows hosts.
