14856	Fedora Linux 23 Guest Additions Not Installing X Window System Drivers.	hoeferbe		"I have installed Fedora Linux 23 (x86_64) as a guest in my VirtualBox 4.3.34 environment.  When I installed the guest additions, I received this warning:

Warning: unknown version of the X Window System installed.  Not installing
X Window System drivers.

Fedora 23 uses xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.18.0-2.fc23.x86_64.  I've attached the vboxadd-install.log and vboxadd-install-x11.log files.

I tried test build 4.3.35-104225 and was surprised to find VBoxGuestAdditions_4.3.'''33'''-103890.iso listed as the guest additions to use with it.  Still, I tried and, unsurprisingly, it did not work.

This appears to be the same issue that was reported '''and fixed''' in VirtualBox 5.0.10 in Ticket [ticket:14797].  The fix just needs back-ported to 4.3.z, please."	enhancement	closed	other	VirtualBox 4.3.34	fixed			Linux	other
