The evtest output suggests that the event merging is happening either in the virtual device on the host side, or in the guest kernel, because it has already happened by the time it reaches the guest user-space event device. |

| 4 | | Actually the problem is that *nothing* is output when I tap/click. I'd already removed the grep part. There were simply no interrupts raised by taps/clicks, period. I'll try disabling I/O APIC to see if that makes any difference. |
