v2 v3 1 OK. After all this, I figured it out: there was a broken or incompatible filter driver/ networkservice, "Virtual Machine Network Services", which I believe was installed by VirtualPC.1 OK. After all this, I figured it out: there was a broken or incompatible filter driver/service, "Virtual Machine Network Services", which I believe was installed by VirtualPC. 2 2 3 3 Uninstalling this from a Network Connections property dialog ''instantly'' enabled the bridged filter driver, with associated debug messages, !ndiskd.filter status, etc. Even better, the VM now works! :-)
