v1 v2 1 There is a related issue. If VirtualBox is launched in the background, it still alters the host keyboard state. You can test it by continuously typing in a host text editor and running a script for delay launching the VM, see the attached example. I'm not sure that the issue first reported here is still occurring with VirtualBox 5.0.1-101908, but this second issue is.1 There is a related issue.
