This is rather hard to accept at face value.

Although install with NDIS5 host network filters drivers, help me to bypass this bug in Windows 7.

I tried 5.0.0/2/4/8 behaved the same problem.

tried Vbox 5.1.26 today, the same behavior occur.

Furthermore, I remove the firewall application, problem remain. more description

Even more, NDIS5 *trick* do not work with 5.1.26 (in especially this bug, it get worse. NDIS5 will cause windows 7 do not dial PPPoE at all.)

I would like to correct this line, NDIS5 work. I also can not reproduce it with 5.1.26. so PPPoE connection can be established with (NDIS5 driver) VBox 5.1.26/28/30/32/33(r120679)

I have same problem.

My Host OS (Win7) is use PPPoE to connect network.

When I setting Guest OS (WinXP or other OS) use Bridged Adapter (and assign my physical network card).

My Host OS PPPoE will disconnect every time when start Guest OS (or shutdown Guest OS).

The old version (4.3.xx) is fine, but VirtualBox-5.1.22-115126 or VirtualBox-5.1.38-122592 has this PPPoE disconnect problem.
