initial v1 7 7 And the problem is that if I have 3D acceleration enabled, no matter what guest OS, there's a popup that then disappears and the VM screen opens up and is completely black and the menu's are all greyed out, like you see in the screenshot attached. 8 8 I can't close the VM from the red X, it doesn't respond to it. I have to kill from terminal. 9 The VM itself in VBox Manager window goes straight to Aborted mode. 9 10 10 11 I did a fresh install of VirtualBox (apt-get purge) and use the Debian Jessie source from virtualbox.org.
