3		The problem I described is not about bridge adapters, but about host-only adapters, and it seems related to this ticket. After a couple of iterations with different VirtualBox versions and settings, I am finally able to create host-only adapters (even without Yirkha's utility), but they immediately disappear when I reopen the preferences dialog. Therefore, the adapters are not created/registered properly in VirtualBox. The same issue has been described several times in this ticket by other users already. So I am not sure, do you want me to create a separate ticket for this?
