13975	VBox sometimes segfaults when inserting a virtual cd	Philip Seeger "VirtualBox vms tend to crash so often when inserting a virtual cd, it appears to be a rather dangerous feature. This has happened with many different vms, randomly - I don't see a pattern when or why it would happen.
This is just one example.

Scenario:
Debian host running VirtualBox 4.3.18, Fedora guest running.
Tried to insert guest additions virtual cd (Devices - Insert Guest Additions CD image), error message that insert failed and if I wanted to force unmount, force unmount. Then tried to mount /dev/cdrom (success) and tried to access it (i/o error, also i/o errors in dmesg), umount cdrom.
Reinsert and repeat process, same result.
In guest, eject /dev/cdrom, then reinsert cd image - vm gone instantly.

dmesg on host:
[4736764.501647] show_signal_msg: 6 callbacks suppressed
[4736764.501653] EMT-0[13655]: segfault at 80 ip 00007f55158203c9 sp 00007f55523ea808 error 4 in VBoxDD.so[7f5515794000+16f000]

VM log attached.
