Error 0x000000C4 when booting Windows 8.1 x64 ISO

Description
I created new VM configured for Windows 8.1 x64 and I tried to install new Windows 8.1, but immediately after start I got error:
STOP: 0x000000C4 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
I have VirtualBox 4.3.22 version r98236, Windows 7 Professional x64 with SP1 as a host.
I tried solution from this link: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/11841 but it didn't help me. I also tried disable APIC, but then I got other error. I couldn't find any working solution on this forum.

Problem solved. I had to enable DEP (Data Execution Prevention) in BIOS inside my machine. But I don't get it why.

Yes, the log file says that enabling NX was not possible as the host does not support it.

This is not a bug. Windows 8.1 requires NX bit support (which is perhaps misleadingly referred to as 'DEP' by some BIOS); see http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/system-requirements . And a VM won't support the NX bit if the host doesn't.
Unfortunately, Windows 8.1 is buggy and although it does detect an unsupported CPU, it does not display an error message and crashes instead. You would likely see the same behavior if you tried booting the disc on the host directly.
