#13816 new defect

Random crashes when NVDA or Narrator are running

Description

In general, the GUI is quite accessible with both ZoomText's Reader and NVDA (I've tested both independently); however, when NVDA is running, VirtualBox will randomly crash at certain points when using the GUI. For example, I could get it to consistently crash when opening the File => Preferences menu, and then pressing ESC to exit. Another example is that I could get all the way through creating my first VM, but then VBox crashes when clicking to create the virtual disk. As a final example, when going to the Settings menu of my VM and pressing ESC to exit/cancel, VBox crashes (I was only able to create the VM in the first place by turning off NVDA). Please take time to investigate this issue by installing the free NVDA screen reader and just performing one of these actions while it is running. Thank you.

Hi IcepickSU.

I don't have the NVDA screen reader but I want to close the ticket. There are no crashes in VirtualBox 5.0.
