v3 v4 3 3 All my virtual machines are running from a external hard disk. I copied the test file (in this case Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS) to my local harddisk in my laptop. Then I get no artifacts, same for when I run the virtual machine directly from my external hard disk. 4 4 5 However I suspect that this has something to do with Ubuntu 14.04 and maybe Compiz because I removed my Nvidia card a booted with my onboard AMD Graphics card and I get the same artifacts.
